 Proverbs 21:31 – "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord."

Reflection: Strategy and preparation are necessary, but ultimate victory comes from God. Fight with skill, but trust in Him for the outcome.

For a soldier, Proverbs 21:31 is a reminder that while training and preparation are crucial, ultimate victory comes from trusting in God. Here’s how this verse applies:

  1. Preparation is Important, But Not Everything
    • Soldiers train extensively, mastering weapons, tactics, and discipline.
    • This verse acknowledges that preparation is necessary, but it also warns against putting full trust in human strength alone.
  2. Victory is in God's Hands
    • Even the best-trained soldiers cannot guarantee the outcome of a battle.
    • This verse reminds them that God determines the final result, and He is the one who grants success, protection, and purpose.
  3. Trusting in God Over Equipment or Strategy
