2 Corinthians 5:7 – "For we live by faith, not by sight."

Reflection: A soldier follows orders even without knowing the full battle plan. Trust in God’s command, even when you cannot see what lies ahead.

The Apostle Paul wrote 2 Corinthians to encourage the believers in Corinth, reminding them to stay strong in faith despite hardships. In this chapter, Paul speaks about the temporary nature of life on earth compared to the eternal home believers have with God.

In 2 Corinthians 5:7, Paul states:

  • "For we live by faith, not by sight." – This means that believers must trust in God’s promises, even when they can’t see the full picture.
  • Faith requires confidence in God’s plan, even when circumstances seem uncertain.

This verse is a call to trust in God rather than relying solely on what is seen or understood through human reasoning.

How This Applies to a Soldier’s Faith
